This week’s Friday Feature highlights Intergenerational Music Making (IMM), a national organisation using music, movement and connection to support young people to build confidence, wellbeing and a sense of belonging.
With support from the Kerslake Robshaw Foundation, their Access All Ages programme brings together young people and older adults through shared creative experiences. Delivered across schools, youth groups and community settings, the programme combines music, rhythm and movement to help young people feel connected, build relationships and develop confidence.
By creating spaces where young people feel part of something bigger, while also reducing isolation among older adults, the programme strengthens both individual wellbeing and wider community connection.
“I like it when I sing. I like it when we said good things.”
At the Kerslake Robshaw Foundation, we’re proud to support organisations using music and sport to help young people feel connected, confident and able to thrive.
