This week’s Friday Feature highlights Go Live Theatre, a charity that uses the power of theatre to create inspiring experiences and unlock possibilities for children and young people.

With support from the Kerslake Robshaw Foundation, pupils will take part in Go Create, a six-week in-school programme designed for Years 5 and 6.

Working alongside professional facilitators, pupils collaborate to devise, write and perform their own original theatre piece inspired by a PSHE theme chosen by the school. Through drama, storytelling and songwriting, the programme encourages creativity, teamwork and self-expression.

The programme culminates in a live performance within the school, celebrating the voices and ideas of the young people involved.

Feedback from schools who have previously taken part includes:

“The in-school Theatre Programme led by Go Live facilitators was exceptional. They took the time to really understand the children and develop their ideas.”

“I loved performing in front of my parents. They were proud of me!”

At the Kerslake Robshaw Foundation, we’re proud to support projects like Go Create, helping young people build confidence and connection through creative experiences.
